Description
Carol J. Adams, known for her many books in animal ethics of care and feminist-vegetarian critical theory, including the landmark The Sexual Politics of Meat, has rarely discussed her time in divinity school or her work training clergy to address domestic violence and how that work shaped her later critical theory, which will be addressed in this lecture.
