This lecture explores seventeenth-century Andean concepts of "buen vivir" (good life) through a comparative reading of the chronicles of Felipe Guaman Poma de Ayala and Garcilaso de la Vega, with particular attention to the intersections of Indigenous and European intellectual traditions, colonial historiography, and literary representation.
