Submissions now open for UCLA Journal of Religion Volume 8

Submissions for Vol. 8 of the undergraduate UCLA Journal of Religion are now open through January 3, 2027. Papers are welcome from undergraduate students in universities around the world. Submitted papers will be reviewed on a rolling basis and decisions will be shared with the authors within 4-6 weeks of their submission.

The UCLA Journal of Religion is a student-run undergraduate journal dedicated to publishing papers on diverse topics in religious studies. We continue to welcome submissions incorporating all methodological and theoretical approaches, and highly encourage interdisciplinary papers. Our goal is to publish superior work regarding the academic study of religion.
