Crossing Pride is a multi-year collaborative performance, healing, and community-based project that centers creative expression by and for queer and trans refugees.

LGBTQ refugees in Sweden reflect on themes of “home”: a collaboration between the Newcomers Performance Project, University of the Arts in Stockholm, and the National Black Theatre of Sweden.

Crossing Pride Roundtable Discussion with Q+A

Following the screening, join us for a roundtable discussion with Crossing Pride Collaborators Debanuj DasGupta (Feminist Studies, UCSB), Anna Winget (UCHRI Scholar and artivist), and Jeanne Scheper (Gender &Sexuality Studies, UCI) with Dario Valles (Chicano/Latino Studies, CSULB and filmmaker).
