Venus Green, an AFAM alumna, has just completed her PhD comprehensive exams in Sociology at Univ of Massachusetts Amherst.

Green recently defended her first doctoral comp titled: The Sociogenic Principles of Anti-Blackness and Racial Slavery: An Afro-pessimistic Critique from the Position of the Slave of the Sociology of Race and Ethnicity.
