The Digital Humanities Exchange (DHX), part of UC Irvine’s Humanities Center and home of a new Critical Data Studies Initiative, welcomes faculty, students, and staff to our fall reception. DHX fosters connections and collaboration among scholars interested in the intersections of the humanities and the digital, including the use of computational methods for humanities research, the building of digital collections to share and sustain knowledge, and the critical - cultural analysis of big data and artificial intelligence. All who are interested in digital humanities and critical data studies, or who would simply like to learn more, are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served - please sign up here so we can plan accordingly. We hope to see you there!
