The event -- brought to you by The Vahe and Armine Meghrouni Lecture Series and scheduled to dovetail with International Women's Day-- will spotlight coauthors Houri Berberian (History, UCI) and Talinn Grigor (Art History, UC Davis), who will present their new book, The Armenian Woman, Minoritarian Agency, and the Making of Iranian Modernity, 1860–1979, and celebrate the women of their book. Their presentation will be followed by a reflective Q&A, reception (food, drink, music), and book signing.

All guests must have a parking permit to park on the UCI Campus. FREE PARKING will be available in Parking Lot 7.
Follow the roadway signs to Lot 7 (roadway signs will be on Mesa Road, West Peltason, and Michael Drake Road) and inform the Parking Attendant in Lot 7 that you are attending the Armenian Studies Book Launch.
