Shanon Fitzpatrick, Ph.D. is an academic developmental editor, scholarship consultant, historian, and founder of Style & Spine Developmental Editing. She received a Ph.D. in History from UC Irvine. Dr. Fitzpatrick started Style & Spine to provide developmental editing and consulting services to writers of scholarly non-fiction. Since 2020, she has worked with over 100 authors on a wide variety of research projects and publications, offering intellectual community, constructive feedback, and developmental support.
