The author, Liron Mor (Comp Lit, UCI), will be in conversation with Saree Makdisi (English, UCLA), Rei Terada (Comp Lit, UCI) and Sohail Daulatzai (FMS, UCI).
The book explores the limits of the apolitical and colonial frame of "conflict." It draws on Hebrew and Arabic cultural production, engaging literature, poetry, philosophy, film, and the law, in order to develop locally-specific modes of theorizing and understanding the context of Palestine-Israel.
