Internationally recognized spoken-word poet, Sarah Kay has performed at the Lincoln Center, the United Nations, and at TEDTalk. She is a founder and co-director of Project VOICE, which uses spoken-word poetry as a means to entertain, educate, and inspire through award-winning performances and innovative workshops. Kay is a best-selling author of the book “No Matter the Wreckage.”  She is an alumna of Brown University and Brown University’s Graduate School’s Master Program in the Art of Teaching Secondary English, as well as a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Lettersfrom Grinnell College.
