CC×GC Pathways (Community College × Global Cultures) is a partnership initiative that connects California community college students with UC Irvine’s Global Cultures B.A. program through academic engagement, mentorship, and transfer pathways. By fostering collaboration among students, faculty, and staff, the initiative creates opportunities for prospective transfer students to explore interdisciplinary learning, undergraduate research, campus life, and career pathways in the humanities. Through symposiums, workshops, campus visits, and other collaborative events, CC×GC Pathways supports students as they navigate the transition from community college to a four year university and become part of a vibrant Global Cultures community.

CC×GC Pathways is launching its inaugural partnership with Golden West College through the Golden West College Ethnic Studies Symposium in December 2026. This event marks the beginning of an ongoing collaboration between UC Irvine and Golden West College that will expand opportunities for student research, mentorship, and transfer success while laying the foundation for future partnerships with community colleges across California.
