Please join Professor Julia Lupton and Fulbright Scholar Andrew Hiscock (Bangor University, Wales) for a five-part series reading Henry IV, Part One. Party with Falstaff, Hal, and Mistress Quickly at the Boars Head Tavern, journey to the battle of Shrewsbury, and explore the Welsh characters of the play with guest scholars from Wales. You can meet Falstaff again this summer at the New Swan, when we produce our original adaptation, The Merry Wives of Windsor Cove!
Free and open to all. Please register through the "Susie Q" Laguna Beach Senior Center (information forthcoming). Please bring your own copy of the play.
Five Wednesdays, 1:00-2:30 pm, at the SusiQ Laguna Beach Senior Center.
