The UC Shakespeare Trial is returning this year to the Irvine Barclay Theatre at UCI. You are the jury at this interactive event. Come experience one of Shakespeare's legal masterpieces, Measure for Measure and witness Erwin Chemerinsky (Berkeley Law) and Bernadette Meyler '06 (Stanford Law) tackle the ambiguity of sexual consent in a world replete with corruption. You will also see scenes from the play featuring New Swan Shakespeare Festival actors Greg Ungar, Abel Garcia, and Heather Echeverria, directed by Beth Lopes.
Tickets are $20, through our partner, the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Students are free with ID and will be seated based on availability.
Streaming is free: register here.
Co-sponsored by UCI Law, Berkeley Law, and Stanford Law School.
