The UCI School of Humanities Communications team wants to help tell your stories! Depending on the type of story, we will consider it for our social media platforms and/or website storytelling platforms. When it makes sense, stories might also be pitched for cross-publication across UCI storytelling platforms and to media outlets.

Research
- Significant faculty grants & fellowships.
- Faculty book publications (six-month lead time is ideal).
- Grad student and faculty research that is making a difference or an impact on our community, people or in the world; research that helps us reframe/rethink history or a historical moment; and/or research that ties to a current topic discussed in the news or popular culture.
- Large, public-facing events with a well-known speaker(s).
- Innovative pedagogy.
- New academic offerings, initiatives.
- Student stories that are inspiring, informative, empowering, tug at the heartstrings and/or showcase the value of a humanities degree. First-gen students are also a UC-wide focus.
- Alumni stories that are inspiring, informative, empowering, tug at the heartstrings and/or showcase the value of a humanities degree. Alumni who are doing unique things with their humanities degree(s) are also a focus.
- Examples of community service & public outreach that show how the SOH is making a positive impact on society.
- If you’ve been quoted or featured in mainstream media outlets.
