Labor law posters are the mandated state and federal employment law notices that employers with at least one employee or more are required to conspicuously post in an area frequented by all employees. Failure to display the correct state and federal employment law notices can result in penalties, fines and lawsuits.
Please update the notices posted in your common area. Posters are to be displayed in the workplace so they are easily visible to employees, such as a breakroom. The current notices required to be posted by the University are available via the UCnet website https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/tools-and-services/administrators/mandatory-employment-notices.html (best viewed in Google Chrome). This website should be used as it provides the most up-to-date notices and should be used – not the ZotPortal.
