Below are some updates from this month's campus HR meeting:

President Drake authorized an extension to the vacation accrual maximum. The extension will be through June 30, 2022.
  • The system-wide announcement is here.
  • Employees who accrue leave may check their leave balances on their UC PATH employee portal.
Emergency Paid Sick Leave has been extended through 06/30/2022.
  • The extension does not increase or reset the 80 hours available to employees.
  • The information site should be updated with the new end date by the end of the month.
The campus is offering asymptomatic testing to all employees.
  • The campus guideline on how to set up an appointment or walk-in information is here.
  • Employees may walk in or set a standing appointment for testing. The frequency of testing for campus employees is 1x per week. 
  • Campus testing locations are available via the link above.
Beginning the week of September 27th, and each week thereafter, a random sample of fully vaccinated campus employees will be identified to participate in the new program. Employees and their respective supervisors will receive an email with instructions for the employee to schedule and obtain an asymptomatic test at any UCI testing location during their normal work hours. The testing must be completed during that week.
