As part of the Mellon-funded Sawyer Seminar “Documenting War,” the School of Humanities will award two pre-doctoral fellowships of $25,000 each for 2016-2017. Fellowships will include in-state tuition, fees and health insurance for the 2016-17 academic year. The fellows will participate in seminar activities during the academic year, contribute to the project (e.g., writing for the website, assisting with organizing events), and advance their dissertation projects.

The call for applications for the pre-doctoral Sawyer fellowship has been extended to include graduate students enrolled in a PhD program in the School of Humanities who will advance to candidacy in 2016-2017.
