Message from the Director

Welcome to the UCI Native American and Indigenous Studies minor!

This program allows students to engage with and specialize in Indigenous content across campus from our growing list of faculty within Indigenous Studies in the arts, humanities, sciences, and social sciences. We foster awareness, knowledge, and understanding of the rich diversity of Indigenous people and peoples locally and across the globe.

We aim for an inclusive, cross-disciplinary experience for our students that is flexible to the intersections of their interests and faculty expertise.
