Racquel Gonzales is the UCI participant in UCLA's Metadata Central project. Funded in part by a grant from UCHRI, the Metadata Central workshop series trains participants in thinking through and identifying relevant metadata to enable digitally aided research and presentation of the research results to diverse audiences. Racquel is a PhD candidate in the Program of Visual Studies. Her esearch traces the relationship between popular entertainment and surveillance practices with a focus on home media technology.
