The UCI English Majors’ Association (EMA) is a resource for all undergraduate majors and minors in English, Literary Journalism, and Creative Writing. We also welcome literature lovers from across the UCI campus, regardless of major.

The EMA is a student-led organization that collaborates with faculty throughout the year to create events that enrich the experience of the major. In addition to weekly meetings and social events, the EMA sponsors faculty research talks; career panels featuring speakers from fields including library science, education, marketing, and journalism; quarterly faculty poetry nights; and an annual trip to the Huntington Library.
