This fall, Julia Lupton will lead community members in a collective reading of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale at Susie Q, the Lagnuna Beach Senior Center.

Format: we read the play out loud each session, assigning parts scene by scene and breaking frequently for discussion. It’s helpful for people to read ahead in advance. No background in Shakespeare or drama required. Julia will bring copies of the play to class, but you can also purchase your own; we are using the Signet edition. The class is free.
