Michael Anderegg gave a rousing and informative lecture on Shakespeare and Lincoln, followed by dramatic readngs from Shakespeare and Lincoln by UCI Professor of Acting Richard Brestoff. About a hundred students, faculty, staff and community members attended the first Kirk Davis Jr. Public Shakespeare Lecture. Kirk's gift to the school will allow us to provide inventive programming that combines scholarship and performance. Thank you, Kirk!
