C-LAB Faculty Fellow Maria Montenegro, "Practicing Indigenous Data Sovereignty at the California Native Mukurtu Hub"

The California Native Mukurtu Hub provides basic support and training to tribal nations/communities/Pueblos/Naciones and organizations interested in setting up their own digital archives using the Mukurtu content management system (CMS). This presentation will go over the basics of Mukurtu and will show how Tribes are using it for archiving their traditional knowledge and cultural heritage for self-determination and sovereignty purposes.
