Randy Felder head shot

Biography

Being a part of UCI is an opportunity that I am grateful for. My goal is to explore the revolutionary violence coming out of the 1960s, specifically regarding the Black Power Movement. Another aspect of my research looks at the tactics of guerilla warfare and how various inventions such as the AK-47 changed revolutionary violence and facilitated guerilla warfare tactics. I plan on earning my PhD and teaching history that is often overlooked by western narratives.
