About the Speaker
Adeline Johns-Putra is Professor of English Literature at Queen's University, Ontario. She was President of the Association for the Study of Literature and Environment (UK and Ireland) from 2011 to 2015. Her publications include the books Climate Change and the Contemporary Novel (2019), The Cambridge Companion to Literature and Climate (2022), Climate and Literature (2019), and Cli-Fi: A Companion (2018), as well as essays on climate and literature in Modern Fiction Studies, Studies in the Novel, and ISLE: Interdisciplinary Studies in Literature and Environment.
