Art History majors and art history and archeology minors are encouraged to apply for these Washington, D.C competitive internship programs, held during either the academic year or in the summer. UCI’s Friends of Art History will award up to $2,500 to an Art History major or minor or archeology minor who is accepted into one of these programs.  Priority will be determined based upon need.

Participants live with students from every UC campus in the UC Washington Center a few blocks from the White House in Washington D.C. UCDC Academic Interns participants earn full-time UC credit and maintain their financial aid eligibility during the fall, winter, or spring quarter. UCDC Summer Interns participants pursue full-time internships, and the summer program is open to graduating seniors (if enrolled in spring quarter prior to graduating).

Thursday, October 24 4 – 5 pm Division of Career Pathways, SS I
Spring or Summer 2020 Application Deadlines:  Monday, October 28, 2019 and Fall 2020 or Winter 2021:  Monday, March 2, 2020

Admitted students work closely with program staff to develop competitive application materials, apply to internship positions, interview successfully, and secure meaningful internships.  Washington, D.C. offers numerous internship opportunities in various industries; students from ALL majors are encouraged to apply.
