In this special event, New Swan Shakespeare Festival premieres a series of short films featuring Shakespearean actors from around the world performing in the language of their choice. These films present a wide variety of comic, historic, and tragic material, and are accompanied by the artists’ thoughts on the art of acting.

What matters to Shakespearean theater artists around the world? How do differing theatrical interpretations and approaches bring his writing to life?  Join us as we explore the universality of Shakespeare’s works, and discover the ways in which his themes and humanism touch the minds, hearts, and souls of people in disparate lands.
