David Gramling is Associate Professor of German Studies / SLAT at the University of Arizona. His forthcoming books are The Invention of Multilingualism (Cambridge UP, 2021) and Literature in the Linguacene (Stanford, 2023). David is a literary translator from Turkish and German and is on the Board of Directors of the American Literary Translators Association. He is editor of the translations section of Duke UP’s TSQ: Transgender Studies Quarterly.
