Call for applications: FMS Summer Internship Award 2021
Application Deadline: Friday May 28 at noon
Have you received an internship this summer (paid or unpaid)? The Department of Film and Media Studies, with generous support from donors including alum Leon Dudevoir, will offer two or more awards of up to $1500 for students who have successfully obtained a summer internship.
Application qualifications and requirements:
1. Copy of unofficial transcript (must have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA)
2. Cover letter with description of internship (name and description of company, location, dates, number of working hours, pay rate and description of job duties). Please make sure that you include the number of working hours.
3. Letter from supervisor confirming receipt of internship
4. Film and Media Studies major (domestic or international students; graduating seniors are eligible)
To be considered, please submit all materials to Sylvia Meza-Tallada smezatal@uci.edu by the application deadline. Successful applicants will be awarded funds upon confirmation of completion of internship and are required to send the Department a minimum two-paragraph statement about how they used the funds which we will then be sent to the donors.
