WR 39B:

Critical Reading & Rhetoric

As the first of two lower-division writing requirements, WR 39B or WR 37 are designed to teach you methods for reading critically and across genres and to give you ample time to write analytical essays for an academic audience. Writing 37 is the same class as 39B, except you’ll spend some extra class-time on language intensive assignments, and WR37 satisfies the Entry Level Writing Requirement as well as WR39B.
