In 1977, 20,000 people from around the world gathered in Houston, Texas. The National Women's Conference was the first and only time that the federal government supported a meeting with approximately 2,000 delegates from 50 states and 6 territories to collectively create a national women's agenda.

Join us to learn from students and alums based at UCI and UCSD who have been researching the 96 delegates and 5 alternates that represented the state of California. You'll also have the opportunity to meet with former delegates and conference attendees from across the country and learn about their extensive experience with activism.
