Q&A following the screening with director Alex Rivera, a Peruvian-American independent filmmaker who is one of the boldest storytellers and innovators in digital filmmaking on the transnational film scene today. His work has garnered multiple awards. Cristina Ibarra is aChicana border crosser and award-winning independent filmmaker with roots along the Texas/Mexican border. Her documentary LAS MARTHAS premiered on PBSIndependent Lens in 2014
