Film and Media Studies     Jun 3 2019 | 6:00 PM - 11:00 PM Irvine Barclay Theatre

Are you interested in viewing short films from new and emerging artists at UCI? Join us for live music, a catered reception, and screenings of Zotfest's Official Selections! Free and open to the public but RSVP required.

Zotfest is a student-run, campus-wide, public competition and screening event started in 1999 by an organization called FADA: Film – Arts – Drama Alliance. Zotfest is one of the longest running, student-run film festivals in the UC system. The film festival will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this spring, continuing its legacy of uniting UCI students in the goal of encouraging a creative, expressionistic, and diverse experience.

Zotfest encourages students from all backgrounds and departments to create films that showcase their unique voices, and it provides the opportunity for these films to be shared with members of the entire campus and members of the community.

Zotfest will also host a panel of UCI Alumni from the film industry that will explore the changing landscape in film/TV creation and distribution today and the opportunities and challenges associated with being a creative in this environment.
