Historian, Pomona College

Miguel Tinker Salas is an authority on political and social issues confronting Latin America. He is the author of Venezuela, What Everyone Needs to Know (Oxford) and many other publications. The talk will focus on Mexico and Venezuela.

He is currently a Professor of Latin American History and Chicano/a Latino/a Studies at Pomona College in Claremont, California.
