AAPIs in 2020: Accessing Social Services, Creating Change & Making Impact

In recognition of Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, the Humanities Center is co-sponsoring a series of conversations entitled “Asian American and Pacific Islanders in 2020” to explore disparities and racism affecting the AAPI communities in Los Angeles and Orange County.

The second event, entitled “Accessing Social Services, Creating Change & Making Impact" will take place on May 13, 6-7 p.m., live-streamed on this site with video posted afterwards.  

Please join us to learn how COVID-19 is disrupting the daily lives of Asian American and Pacific Islanders in Southern California, from access to social services for unemployment housing, and health, to fears about public charge.
