A black comedy and dark social satire shot in black and white, Huang’s film deals with the most marginal people of Taiwanese society. A security guard and his buddy happen upon surveillance footage recorded by his boss’s in car camera and trouble lies ahead for both of them in what appears at first like a light hearted romp, the film also deals with the hypocrisy of Buddhism and charity in an increasingly unequal world.
