Critical Inquiries in Multilingualism Research Cluster presents a talk by Dr. Johanna Tovar.

Johanna Tovar is an Assistant Professor at the WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Prior to moving to Austria, she was a postdoctoral fellow at City University of Hong Kong. She completed her PhD in Sociolinguistics at King’s College London and a Master in Anthropology at the London School of Economics and Social Science. Her monograph A linguistic ethnography of a multilingual call center: London calling has been published by Palgrave. She has also published articles in Language in Society and in the Journal of Business Communication.
