Lucid Blackout Poetry Workshop

Are you a first generation college student? Are you interested in crafts? Writing poetry?

This workshop welcomes you to make some poems using the technique of blackout poetry. What is blackout poetry? It’s when you take a book, newspaper, or magazine and, using a “black” pen, redact selected words to create something new: your poem. Students who participate in the event will receive a free copy of Lucid’s second issue: Transitions and Transformations. Students can also stop by to chat with the Lucid team about publishing opportunities in the journal.

November 17, 4-6pm in Library OC-SEAA Reading Room 104.
