Daniel Orrells is an Associate Professor in Classics and Ancient History at the University of Warwick in Coventry, England. He is the author of “Classical Culture and Modern Masculinity” (2011) and “Sex: Antiquity and its Legacy” (2015). Professor Orrells is an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation fellow at the Winckelmann Institute of Classical Archaeology at Humbolt University in Berlin, and has a Ph.D. in Classics from the University of Cambridge.
