Talk, reading, and book signing by author Bernhard Schlink (The Reader, The Woman on the Stairs)

Author Bernhard Schlink will speak on his bestselling novel The Reader and will also read from and speak about his new book The Woman on the Stairs.  A book-signing will follow the reading. 

Bernhard Schlink was born in Germany and is also author of The Weekend and Homecoming, as well as the collection of short stories Flights of Love and four prizewinning crime novels. He is a former judge and teaches public law and legal philosophy at Humboldt University in Berlin and at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
