The fourth session of the “Discussion group on issues related to professionalization” (DECADE) will be on Tuesday, May 19 at 5:30pm in HH 344. Prof. Eve Morisi from the European Languages and Literature, French and German Department will be our discussion leader. She will be talking about the “Doc to Prof” transition, providing basic advice on how to prepare the end of the PhD cycle and one’s arrival on the job market (so: wrapping up one’s dissertation, what to do about publications, and key things to know about applications and interviews).
Also, graduate students from German, and Comparative Literature (for whom Prof. Morisi is faculty mentor) will join us for the discussion.
