This collaborative workshop focuses on emergent cultural and scientific issues of contemporary Iran. In this workshop, participants consider a range of themes, in their writing, relevant to pollution as mediated by ecologies of war, Persian carpet, the construction of underclass, the cultural notions of the environment, governmental policies, and knowledge disputes over public data on pollution.
