Miguel Ramón’s work at UCI focuses on issues of equity in higher education, specifically developing a student-centered approach to improve outcomes for historically disenfranchised students in first-year composition programs.  In addition to his role as the Humanities Out There Fellow, he has developed curriculum for distance and online learning since 2015 that incorporates data-driven techniques to keep students in motion while learning.
