On behalf of the Center for Asian Studies, we will be organizing the graduate student-run Access Asia monthly gathering for the 2021-22 academic year. This is a brown bag series to help create a community that provides helpful resources and opens up a safe space for graduate students within the fields of Asian Studies. We hope to facilitate and promote vibrant dialogues pertaining to geographic regions of Asia, including but not limited to Northeast Asia, East Asia, and South and Southeast Asia. Our brown bag series will feature informal get-togethers with other graduate students and faculty to explore academic interests. Other programming may include CV workshops, mock job talks, and publication resources for our professional development. If anyone wants to be more involved in the community and present your work or interesting topics, please contact us. For now, this will be held online.
