Featuring:

Taylor Hosking: A journalist who has written about politics and culture for The Atlantic, The Guardian, them and Afropunk. Taylor is a former culture staff writer at VICE where she wrote largely about Black and LGBTQ pop culture trends before leaving to pursue her interest in podcasting. Taylor has produced podcasts for places like Stitcher, Buzzfeed and local NPR station KCRW. Now, she's still writing on the side while spending most of her time producing a weekly feminist news talk show called "Undistracted with Brittany Packnett Cunningham" at Pineapple Street Media.

Liz Mak is independent radio producer living in Oakland, California. For four years, she made stories at the WNYC public radio show and podcast Snap Judgment. Before that, she reported at NPR member station KALW in San Francisco. She also taught at the Transom Story Workshop. Liz’s stories have taken her to search for hidden graves on a remote Indonesian island, document the 2016 protests at Standing Rock, and interview a man who -  except for his socks - was fully in the nude. Her writing, photography, audio and video work have appeared in various outlets, including NPR, Studio 360, PRI’s The World, and The New York Times.

Megan Tan is a podcast host, producer, reporter, sound designer, and writer. She is currently developing and piloting new shows at LAist Studios, the podcast department of LA's #1 listened to public radio station KPCC. Tan created and produced Radiotopia’s Millennial (Season I), LAist Studios’ California Love, and Gimlet Media’s The Habitat. Her work has made The Atlantic’s “The 50 Best Podcasts of the Year” list for three consecutive years, has been named “Best Podcast of 2020” by Apple, and has been recognized by The New York Times, TIME Magazine, The Guardian, and more.
