Sobia is a fifth-year double major in English and Global Cultures. Using her interests in culture theory, post-colonial literature, and diverse and attention-grabbing voices on campus, she launched The UCI FOB, an alternative media publication; its goal is to provide an open-forum for discourses of all sorts. She is also involved in Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP), Tau Sigma, Al-Kalima, and other on-campus organizations. Her long-term plan includes pursuing a Ph.D., with the hopes of one day becoming a professor. |
