Description:
Are you interested in pursuing graduate studies in philosophy? For many students, it is unclear what graduate philosophy study entails and what graduate programs expect from competitive applicants. However, there are many undergraduate summer philosophy programs that can help clarify these issues. These summer programs are designed to introduce students to graduate level studies in philosophy and bring context to the vague graduate application process. Moreover, some programs workshop your graduate application materials and many offer letters of recommendation that are sure to help you to some extent. At the very least, the programs are dedicated to making the graduate application process accessible and providing an inclusive space for underrepresented philosophers. By participating in these programs, you can also expect to benefit financially and network with like-minded people. Indeed, many in our Philosophy Graduate Community who have been involved in these programs continue to benefit from the support and opportunities that these programs usually provide.
