ABOUT JIAYANG FAN:
Jiayang Fan became a staff writer at The New Yorker in 2016. Her reporting on China, American politics, and culture has appeared in the magazine and on newyorker.com since 2010. Fan appears at UCI as part of a two-day visit, with the master class taking place on March 5, and a talk for the Long Institute on March 6 from 4-6 PM in the Social and Behavioral Sciences Gateway, Room 1517.
