Amy DePaul

DePaul

Amy DePaul was, is, and always shall be a fan of Roger Federer and Serena Williams. She also has a life outside tennis, which includes reading fiction, finding obscure covers of songs on YouTube, and dragging her family on walks and beach trips in Southern California.
She has taught reporting at UC Irvine since 2004 and held teaching positions at Cal State Fullerton and Miami University of Ohio.

In 2013, she won a California Health Journalism Fellowship at the USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. Her reporting on public health and social issues has received awards from the Orange County Press Club, the National Education Writers Association and the Council on Contemporary Families. She enjoys reading Kiosk.
