Honoring the Legacy of Carlos Bulason

Writer Carlos Bulosan joined the over 100,000 Filipinx who travelled to Hawai'i and the U.S. continent due to U.S. colonization of the Philippines. His autobiographical novel America Is in the Heart (1946), is considered a classic and still widely taught and read today. This program on Feb. 20, 7-8:30 p.m., will honor Bulosan's literary activism, and will feature readings and reflections.
